biggest problem with chapelle's new special is actually just that it was boring. all of these things have been said. he himself has said these things. wokeness is crazy, but the point's no longer brave or even shocking. a lot of you are just cashing checks now and it shows.

think most of us that follow mike get this, but agree for most average americans they have no idea how destructive wokeness is, being early in cultural wars sucks at times because when everyone starts talking about something, you’ll have sufficiently debated it years ago

Maybe it works both ways. If woke is rinsed and repeated in every aspect of the culture, maybe it's sauce for the gander. That's a separate analysis from the quality of the material, though.
