What would you say about us (a private school network) making an independent decision to require vaccines of our school staff? (We haven't made such a decision, but were seriously entertaining it before Biden's recently proposed requirements.)
i think it's your right to make that decision, but i personally would never pressure someone to undergo a medical procedure (i would however strongly recommend it)

It's the Risk/Reward equation. Your risking your job and life vs a bit of pain from the shot.
No one is forced to get the shot. They can choose to get tested instead.
Another important point here IMO is that herd immunity isn’t really a thing with Covid. If enough people get the measles vax, boom, no one gets measles any more. If everyone gets Covid vax, Covid still transmits. Forcing unvaccinated ppl to vaccinate doesn’t help vaccinated ppl
So are you fine with banning all employment drug tests and drug tests for welfare? It seems like if you think vaccine mandates are tyranny than a job knowing what substances are in your body is tyranny too.
