It would be more persuasive if you addressed the case where hospital resources become overwhelmed with Covid patients to the detriment of non Covid patients. We all share the same hospital resources in our communities.

Functioning modern hospitals reduce all our risk on a daily basis. It is a resource we share. Overwhelmed hospitals increase all our risk to unfortunate timing or circumstances regardless of individual Covid risk.
