Wait, so if I send out a press release to a newswire, they just post it without checking? Isn't this precisely what the media say that Facebook is terrible because anyone can just post anything? Aren't the media "better" because things are checked first? Apparently not.

Talking about crypto. When he says "regulating" he means "banning". Machine guns are heavily regulated in America. You also cannot buy them in gun stores.

I think he knows this. The point is the press was irresponsible here and let a couple greedy bad actors execute a pump & dump because they were unwilling to do the absolute basics of their job.
