I subscribe to your newsletter and I appreciate your take on a lot of these things, but I’d love to see your perspective on what other policy alternatives exist for helping unvaxxed people not end up in hospitals aside from lockdown, instead of just dunking on this slippery slope

this is fair, and i’ll try to write more here. the problem is i think the only justification for such spectacular erosion of liberty is existential risk, which this is not. i genuinely believe authoritarianism poses greater risk than covid, which is why i’m focused on authority.
