But on Marx being an inspiration, trying to find like for like comparisons to "get what it has to do with Marx" will naturally result in failure. That's not how inspirations work.
thx for reading, and for the thoughtful pushback. imo a broader look at the writing there made it clear we weren't talking about a little inspiration, but a worldview — dangerous at first glance, but ultimately impossible to realize, which brought me to a place of cautious hope.
