      The Caples Ecosystem Restoration Project cost about $75k to plan and $475k to execute. There were also some suppression costs when it escaped containment. It treated a bit over 8800 acres. So figure $63/acre. That is an incredible bargain. We need LOTS of these. Everywhere.
