I don’t even see the issue here. The card schemes are private companies. Surely this is the free market perfectly allocating resources?? 
How irrational would be me supporting the onlyfans move because I don't like the idea but I also hating the fact that banks dictates which business has access to modern financial products.

I’m honestly surprised they didn’t dive into crypto payments, they would be a perfect use case. I guess the banks must’ve threatened to do more than just stop facilitating payments
The OF press release mentions “payout partners” ie: banks. Which makes me think they threatened a Chexsystem ban. Worst case nobody working for or running the company could open a bank account in the US.
