okay but sometimes you do just have to launch a rocket thoughhttps://twitter.com/TechInsider/status/1423715658370535434 …

Musk would frequently curse executives and lower-ranking workers. The book details one of Musk’s episodes in 2010 in which he stormed out of a meeting shouting. It's just one of the many heated episodes detailed in the new book. https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-temper-rage-tesla-book-power-play-meetings-employees-2021-8 … pic.twitter.com/kC4SNBoOYz

Is this one really supposed to be considered an example of bad behavior? Seems eminently reasonable to be upset about a manager not knowing that his employee had a solution to a production issue.https://twitter.com/TechInsider/status/1423715660992028683 …

        Blake Gentry added,

Graphic shows a quote from Elon Musk that reads: "This is totally unacceptable that you had a person working in your factory that knows the solution and you don't even know that."
        Tech InsiderVerified account @TechInsider
The CEO went into a rage during a factory visit over issues with the Model X's window. When a worker on the assembly line proposed a solution, Musk lit into the worker's manager. https://www.businessinsider.com/tesla-elon-musk-ruthlessly-fired-anyone-who-disagreed-spacex-report-2021-8 … pic.twitter.com/OPtAWI08sR

Yup. Musk is one of those guys that doesn't give a shit if you have a phd. If you know more than the manager he'll literally rather you lead lmao. I actually have a spacex interview and it's been rough. They grill you

I’m sure the book compares voluntary employee churn at Musk’s companies to industry averages in order to build a real case. You wouldn’t just publish a book of anecdotes without including data to back up the core thesis.

Maybe you wouldn't, which is why Tech Insider should take a note from your YouTube channel on accuracy and thoroughness.
