but theyre caving to the DSA NiMBYs. Some only want public housing (which will never get built).
It's not that hard to take positions on schools, crime, business friendliness. All of which increase density
"public housing only" is just a lie. they know it's impossible to make a dent there, so really it's a moratorium on building. they want this bc they equate population growth with gentrification. they're wrong about everything but it's a faith structure, so there's no debating it.
