thing about YIMBYs is a lot of them are actually bad on every other issue. there will never be a real political force there, imo.

but theyre caving to the DSA NiMBYs. Some only want public housing (which will never get built).
It's not that hard to take positions on schools, crime, business friendliness. All of which increase density -
YIMBYs might be the true single issue voters organization. They're missing the forest for the (very important) trees. FWIW I endorse all positions the org takes but it's wildly timid and let's crazy people run amok elsewhere.
