A lot of modern rad-leftie culture is just LARPing as revolutionaries because there's no actual way to make their proposed future happen, and that's one way to sublimate their anger and frustration.

You can’t separate them from their violence—that is their biggest legacy. We’d never cut slack for anyone trying to push Mussolini or Pinochet readings separate from their legacies, I don’t understand why the Left thinks they can do the same.

Nazism is not equivalent to Socialism. Mein Kampf sets the goal as authoritarian white supremacy, whereas Kapital wants a worker's utopia - no gulags, etc. it's nearly anarchist (ie "the state withers away") There's no morally acceptable version of Nazism, unlike Socialism.
