      A lot of modern rad-leftie culture is just LARPing as revolutionaries because there's no actual way to make their proposed future happen, and that's one way to sublimate their anger and frustration.

      frankly, i'm tired of giving these people a pass for behavior none of us would ever afford a "LARPing" nazi, for example. we should take them at their word when they say their goal is guillotines, and respond accordingly.

          That's too simplistic tho. If we find caches of guillotines, meetings planning terrors, etc. then take action. The issue with Neo-Nazis & adjacent groups is that they actually formed armed groups, train for combat, and do real-life actions. The Left doesn't do this anymore.

          dude i don’t know what to tell you, there are no neo nazis in city hall. this conversation started over people with actual political power endorsing a philosophy of violence — the DSA, which is actively winning seats around the country. we need to take them at their word.
