this is a fraction of the unvaccinated population. we are having a national conversation on the ethics of authoritarianism in the service of protecting around a hundred million perfectly-able unvaccinated adults who know the risks and don't care.
worst of all, amidst this recent delta spike there's no correlating spike in deaths, implying this isn't even urgent. government should simply urge the vaccine, continue putting money behind the campaign, and move on.
