i’m not suggesting what we should do, or even criticizing our leaders (here). my only point is the media’s anti-vaxx narrative appears to be extremely misleading — to the point of misinformation. our highest-risk individuals appear to be largely vaccinated.

I agree that the fearmongering around delta is not to be trusted. A good message I think is "vaccinated people should know they can *easily* spread delta, which can harm unvaccinated people, and unvaccinated people should know the vaccine turns this into a cold or flu."

Ie, if MAGA grandma refused the vax (for good reasons or bad reasons), it's important her vaccinated kids know that the broken clock of the CDC is now lining up with reality again in a way it wasn't before.
