Where’s the “ministry of truth” part? This law seems to be about online harassment / cyber bullying, with an intent-to-harm qualifier that should limit overreach. While I’m not a fan of such laws, it seems different from what you represented.

In schools, they have the book “1984” includes in the curriculum but when they teach it, they teach it in a way where we are fighting disinformation rather than the tech giants controlling speech. Quite intriguing how many of Orwell’s ideas slip under the radar.
