Too many influential people now determine their worldviews based purely in opposition to their tribal enemies. They’ve played the “right wing talking point” card so many times they pigeon holed themselves into always disagreeing no matter the subject

Because tribalism is on the rise and we’re hostage to zero-sum politics and groupthink. Increasingly, narratives focus on and amplify irreconcilable wrongs leading to the reinforcement of strongly held beliefs and the thoughtless promotion of team agendas.
