I'd be curious what the right positioning or rhetoric would be (cc @noUpside), considering that anti-vaxxers are making it really hard to get the vaccination rate up and prevent spread of the variant (and therefore deaths & hospitalization).

It’s not a misunderstanding, we are all aware of scale. The problem isn’t evenly distributed. People “have viewed” (deliberate choice) does not mean people were persuaded, as evidenced by their subsequent actions.

Misinformation is not the overarching problem. The complete inability to productively reach consensus is the problem, w/misinfo being one input, loss of trust being another, etc. (I have a thing currently in edits on this.) But in the near term, people believing BS ab
is bad. -
agree trust is the problem, just don’t think a government department of truth will repair that trust
