what is the evidence people aren’t taking the vaccine bc they read misinformation on facebook rather than a) they don’t believe it works bc our vaccinated leadership behaves publicly in a manner that suggests it doesn’t (masks etc.) or b) it’s new and they don’t want to risk it
same, most ppl i know who don’t want to take the vaccine correctly speak to some level of risk but (in my opinion) get the degree of risk wrong, certainly as compared to risk from covid. imo we would all do better addressing actual concern rather than the invented disinfo crisis.

indeed, there's a margin on which obsession with not-yet-vaxed signals low confidence in the vax. being vaxed still works very well even if you're around unvaxed people! including all extant variants! the willfully unvaxed are a transitory, self-limiting, self-correcting problem.
