Now that the USSR and Venezuela are defunct, Cuba can still prove Communism works so long as America offers no questions asked financial support.

Ultimately the problem is not that Communism doesn't work, of course it works. It's just that the economies of Communist donor nations seem to keep failing and in doing so they're unable to support their Communist client states.

Yeah don’t understand this. Point to xyz failed communist states and the response is, “would have worked great if not for x imperialist interference.”

But what would we need to make an accurate assessment of success/failure? An organic collapse in totally controlled lab conditions? Failures due to x interference show the relative strength of the system

It reminds me of the kind of person who goes to Burning Man and is like, “this place is totally self-sufficient. What if we de-commodified our lives and always lived like this?” Dude, you rode in on a camper paid for by your Facebook salary and ran a gas generator for a week.
