Yes agree, but there are laws that recognize that - EUA vaccines can’t be mandated for school is my understanding, and SF’s mandate would also only apply after full authorization happens. That’s a different argument than just ‘choice’, though.

If an unvaccinated city worker gets infected and requires hospitalization, isn't that a (mostly) avoidable burden on the healthcare system, with their benefits funded by tax payers? Serious question. Other issues: long-term damage and healthcare costs, worker productivity.

Why is the longevity of some government worker’s career more important than the life of someone that is immune compromised and has to interact with said government worker?
