If I were still a CEO, I would put out this message: Anyone in the company can contact me privately about any concern they have. But if they try to pressure me into it by publicly circulating a petition, they have just signed their own termination letter.

Definitely not a hot line to the CEO but there should be a viable internal control system to handle stuff like this. I guess that’s what HR is supposed to be for but we all know it doesn’t work that way lol
