The weirdest thing to me about the Antonio Garcia Martinez firing is that Apple appears to have failed to do even cursory research on AGM's brand/book. You'd think companies, when hiring in this climate, would properly scrutinize and assess comfort level w risk of backlash.

I mean, people are within their rights to pressure their employer to make certain moves, and employers are well within their rights to fire people to appease. But, I wouldn't sign that shit unless I had actual & substantial evidence that AGM treated colleagues in a sexist manner.
