100% correct. lowercase comes off more authentic because it’s the antithesis of corporate comms (peak of inauthenticity)

Theory: lowercase is an affectation which signals that the writer doesn’t care. But it doesn’t come from place of brave non-conformity. More from a place of fear. If you don’t care, and don’t take words seriously, then it’s just a joke, and you can’t as easily be canceled.

I'm old enough to remember that we went through a lowercase fad about 20 years ago. It became stupidly annoying and we gave up on it.
