You can't put yourself back into the Matrix, but you can open yourself up to it. The central claim of both Judaism and Christianity is that God makes contact with us, not the other way around. It's hard to be Jewish or Christian without feeling that God is reaching out to you.

odd to me you think i only talk to people my own age. was literally just DM'ing a guy in his early 20s about this stuff a couple hours ago — he initiated the convo. if anything, i think the trend is *more* prevalent among younger people.

Humans are spiritual & religious (organized part) by nature. Getting rid of a religion doesn't get rid of religion in general. A new religion is either adopted or spontaneously created in its place. The question then is good vs bad religion, true vs false religion
