Nah, he's not grumbling and meh'ing at it. Pay close attention. He's saying, Elon Musk shouldn't spend his money on this, gov should take it and do other stuff. He's not meh. He's "No! Stop!". And will use gov force to stop it.

In Bernie Sanders' ideal world, nobody would be rich enough to consider doing this. It's not a matter of when. He thinks it's wrong to be able to try.

He is not taking public resources that would otherwise go to homelessness and putting it towards space. He made that money, he raised that money, thru free market means. If anything he saved NASA money, public money that could have put towards homelessness.

"Creating art is a nice idea, but right now we need to focus on Earth and create a progressive tax system so that children don't go hungry, people are not homeless and all Americans have healthcare. The level of inequality in America is obscene and a threat to our democracy."

Basically Communism. He thinks the states knows what’s an effective distribution of capital to engage in ideal amount of production in the ideal areas of society. When they want to get wealth in the form of shares off company owners this is 100% Communism
