I agree that it's ambiguous, but there's nothing wrong with amplifying marginalized voices. Nowhere does Medium mention removing or stifling voices. Minus the unionizing, substack also explicitly stated that they were not apolitical in their blog post.

The Elect are just doing a bunch of fuzzing and finding open ports. This one is pretty solid - the way to close it is to recognize these are not unions, they are neo-unions, which are advocacy groups using workers rights as a pre-text for power.
