there’s at least a decade and a half in front of you to try to make the system better if you cared like. maybe that’s not enough time but honestly tell me if everyone just keeps focusing all their energy on the one existing target how the fuck does anything get better

agree there is time, but the more i look into this stuff the more i see how insanely entrenched the insanity is. the entire local machine is not only crazy but completely in power. just feels hopeless sometimes, which is likely where the present energy is coming from. despair.

i’m not saying this change instantly makes schools better but like i said in my other post how do you get people to care otherwise. are the vcs with school age kids now, whose urgency i do understand — what are they investing in the system to make it better
