If there's one thing I want culturally liberal people getting iffy on the left to realize it's that guns are good. They're equalizers that minimize the importance of physical might. Using one changes your relationship with the state and your sense of responsibility in real ways.

People should treat them with tremendous respect and take safety so seriously. Use a safe. Always act like it's loaded even when you know it isn't. Never have anything down range you'd mind hitting, ever. But interacting with that kind of physical power and mastering it is good.

Why should people have to go through all this troubles just to live in SF?. Just move to peninsula or to east bay. Still connected to the greater Bay Area tech ecosystem and also better weather.

SF was never a tech center until 2010, now seems it could mean revert and peninsula may become the tech epicenter again.
