Mike, thanks for writing this. I think I am certainly addicted to social validation and it's something I'm trying to move away from. I feel my brain tuning to being over responsive to these signals and unable to think. Trying to find ways to reshape how I engage.

Maybe we’re an ego death community trying to get over the fear of not being loved or safe, and learn to believe it ourselves without validation from inbound signals, and in that self-assured strength, make living conditions better for everyone alive
