i'm genuinely curious how many people that moved to SF for technology, switched their residency to vote there & engage in local politics i know a lot of my friends in NYC are still registered in their home town seems common, and i wonder how many people r just kinda larp-ing

i genuinely don't know how i would go about finding this out but i do feel, it has to be part of the culture of the city itself. and has plenty of secondary effects from its governance to the psyche of the residents
