i doubt it, but whether or not they do is beside the point. workers aren't being exploited here in any conceivable way. if their issue is the *kind* of work the company does, they should get a new job.

So this would be a new kind of union where commenting on the direction of the company is in scope. Strange that it's bucketed with TVC issues and sexual harassment, which I think are areas that are more typically handled by unions
Not at all strange - that’s the playbook: identify hot button issues where they can get traction and then leverage that influence to wrest executive control. It’s all reducible to “power” for them. “Principle” is a racist construct that perpetuates the status quo, or some shit.
This is just incorrect, factually.
Better for management to get a new job if they don't like this new direction.
The workers are organizing so they can have leverage, and ideally gain more transparency in areas where they lack knowledge. That's the whole point
