In my district (D3), I thought
@DannySauter had a good campaign that was very visible, and was disappointed that the incumbent Peskin got 53% in the first round of voting (56% after round 3). 73% of total registered voters in my district voted in that contest. -
That's the problem, we are not as engaged as we think. It's easier to just vote based on party recommendations, I do that too. The challengers don't offer a clear enough policy alternative or how they would conduct things differently. There's not that much of a gap in policy.
