Not hard and fast rules by any means (how do you get home at midnight), but cmon, figure out how to take the bus from Pac Heights to Alamo Square. That’s all I’m saying
right, i just don't think we're ever going to inspire some sense of duty in people to take public transit, which has never existed anywhere, at any time. we just need a critical mass of people in the area, and for public transit to be the most convenient way to get around.

Anecdotally speaking, i think there's a level of empathy and understanding built when interacting with government services, like buses. Several of my friends who rely solely on TNCs do it partly to avoid interacting with the city's problems, which I can understand
