Perhaps can you shed a light on the unfairness of the 1% paying half of the income taxes from your perspective? If the income gap is big this would be a natural outcome. Or are you just saying that the high earners are indeed paying enough / carrying their weight?

sure, i’m saying the 1% wealthiest people in the state are contributing a tremendous amount, and also that relying on such a small group of people to sustain a state’s entire public infrastructure is dangerous (people are mobile)

Thanks. I'll admit that's an untwitterishly objective take. Can someone write an article on where the money went? I'm originally from Eastern Europe but this level of mismanagement is difficult for me to imagine.
