Generally agree but you’re wrong about the tech industry not trying to band together to fix SF politics. I remember Ronco pitching our YC class on joining http://sf.citi . The problem was the advocacy was ineffectual. Build More Housing wasn’t a policy plank until 2019.

I’m well aware of her work. My point was contra your assertion that “there has been almost no meaningful engagement in local politics from the industry.” There have been engagements attempting to work within the system (e.g. http://sf.citi , Conway’s support of Ed Lee)
