Yeah my op wasn’t denying people leaving sf. The same way I don’t deny a bunch of folks left nyc lol But I was very explicitly saying that the amount of narrative, specifically around SF -> Miami Feels like a classic case of narrative being bigger than what’s acted on
miami has been meaningfully discussed in venture circles, with a couple other cities, since even before COVID. there is now a small but relevant concentration of investors there, and an enthusiastic mayor. narrative is a lot, no doubt, but just catching up to reality imo.
