It's kind of depressing how little it takes for a politician to impress the tech community. Our expectations are such that "Hi, I don't explicitly hate and want to harm you" has us packing up and moving across the country. This is how people with severe emotional trauma date.
I'm not actually convinced the people fleeing will be voting for California-style policies, as I'm not convinced many people in tech were ever voting to begin with (a major part of the problem).
