Really interesting comment on Boeing, didn’t know. But Oracle has brand new (beautiful) campus in Austin. Right on the river near downtown and south Congress

Oracle doesn’t really represent tech. It’s more ***even Oracle*** is out. Like, people have it entirely backwards, which makes sense because that’s why we’re going.

tbh the most shocking thing is that Oracle is a $180b company

$100B market cap companies aren't all equal. I.E. Snowflake at $100B did $160M revs in Q3. Oracle ~ $10B. Snowflake has 2k+ employees. Oracle - 135k. It's a big deal when a company Oracle's size moves its HQ since headcount & profits generate tax rev. Marketcap doesn't.

Austin is not as big as SV for software. But I am seeing more and more software jobs. Average salary about $85kpic.twitter.com/z13KZ5ky4R
