Virtual worlds are the future is a horrible narrative mirage. We are swinging back to spending as much time as possible together in person asap (and p = within 12 months).

You both are looking at it the wrong way. Being in a IRL city gives you an advantage: LA = movies NY = Finance SF = Startups Virtual worlds allow the benefits of these geos to be accessed by people who aren't able to move their life there.
