as kids, millennial parents truly believed any one of us, at any time, could hack the pentagon, or the CIA, or bring down global banking. they lived in fear of the internet, yes. but they also lived in fear of us. this was technically awesome.

In high school, I changed the windows bootscreen on the family computer to the CIA logo and actually convinced my parents that I'd hacked the CIA.
