Fair point. There should be interest in things we don't recognize around us. However, these silly statements and UFO "sightings" just fit a perfect narrative. So there is motivation for gov's to keep the story going. I want to believe.
I think UFOs not being aliens is more incredible than aliens being real.
It’s hard for people to admit but if you believe in UFOs, then you must believe in aliens. I think it’s fear of social ostracism. Almost everyone believes in UFOs and almost no one (but nutters) believe in aliens. Makes zero logical sense.
