What’s worse is the equal number of retirees that get that as a pension for life when they retire at 55...but it’s ok, we just vote to issue bonds to fix our roads/schools and subvert the $ into the general fund to backstop Calpers/strs incompetence with pension investing

Trying to be apolitical, but I think this pandemic and the negative externalities caused by every CA politician mishandling it might cause a “Reagan moment” in 2022...we need a reset for the good of ALL of us...there needs to be some “give” and less “take”...

We will almost certainly get a 90s Giuliani-like figure as mayor of either SF or LA, and then that person will be elected governor. How quickly this happens depends on how bad things get.
