San Francisco is completely out of sync with California on some issues -- especially Prop 22. SF voted "no" by 60-40. CA voted "yes" by 59-41.

agree generally, but think prop 22 actually had more to do with sf's anti-tech sentiment than leftist politics broadly. for the past ten years our housing crisis has been blamed on the industry rather than the government.
