- it's good for kids to be into research - it's actually fine to work with adult researchers but it sucks that media has inflated kids' role in the work - there's already enough prizes & competitive pressure for this stuff - putting them in the public eye doesn't help at all

i thought the same thing. insane pressure to put on a kid. where are they supposed to go from here?

yeah there's already so many competitions and prizes like there's a whole internal hierarchy already, putting them on the cover of magazines and making them talk to reporters about the future as Kids of the Future or whatever is deranged
