who is going to read all of these anti-tech substacks and subscription-based blogs? i truly don’t understand the target audience. the small fraction of unhappy tech workers? other writers? and how many are willing to pay?

My mistake, that same confusion is also argued by detractors. It seems like consumers don’t see the content as anti-tech generally but more issue-specific, and will consume content on bias, privacy, AI/ML ethics, etc w/o perceiving it as a condemnation of tech as a whole

@ProtonMail for instance will love the privacy content, but might ignore a piece from the same pub on how email hurts relationships.
