literally the framing here is “corruption is bad because it could lead to republican victories.” what kind of degraded, broken, political creature do you have to be to not just think corruption is wrong... because it’s wrong? and to then *say that out loud* ??!!!!

I mean, NYC voted for what were admittedly *Rockefeller* *NYC* *Wall Street* Republicans for 20 years when they finally got tired of the crime. And that worked out pretty well for NYC if not necessarily New Yorkers.
