        This seems like just trolling. The lockdowns barely budged carbon emissions, because none of us have any meaningful control over the supply chains that keep us alive.

        It's public, as in open to the public, but it's not funded by the public sector. It's funded by the Bondi club attached to it - which itself attracts funds through memberships and via its restaurants and bars. Bondi benefits hugely by its location.
