If capitalism is the most efficient algorithm for uncovering and coordinating profitable trade we would expect it to create markets that satisfy self-reinforcing destructive appetites and destroy prosocial behaviors that impede them in every way possible

Seems self evident that some portion of new ventures will necessarily profit by converting intangible wealth derived from social capital into lesser but measurable profits; VCs have a choice to acknowledge this or push the unambiguous benefits of innovation
