man, we are living in different realities. coinbase didn’t do this despite risk of torching trust with the nyt, they did this bc they feel — based on stories published, and behavior on twitter — that the nyt is committed to destroying the tech industry. there’s no trust to torch.

Every VC and every founder thinks the "media" wants to “destroy" tech (Andreessen literally said this to me about one of my publications) but reality is they can't look inward enough to see their problems and they don't want anyone else pointing them out. It's the worst bubble.

you literally dog whistled me for criticizing how folks in SF demonize poor people. of course you don’t agree with what our problems are; you don’t operate and you don’t build. you sit comfortably in an ivory tower perpetuating the very issues I’ve had to face as a black founder.
